We see it as a real investment for our family and more particularly our three girls. Keep up the good work!
Brilliant to have meal choices, coffee and ice cream vendors were a neat addition. Having a band/dance last night a superb idea. Atmosphere in evenings enhanced as a result.
For me, New Wine Summer was a time of rest, catching up with friends (74 from my parish), reflection, praise and grounding myself ready for the new year. That is to say nothing of the new realizations that I received that have made me work steadily on changing my behaviours in some areas.
We were surrogate parents for three teenage boys as well as our own and two daughters - for older kids it’s a great SAFE place to let them all be independent but check in with the oldies once in a while.
It provided a wonderful God filled holiday for myself, three friends and two foster daughters. We were all encouraged, challenged, refreshed, ministered to. I am very excited about sharing what I learnt with my home church in Palmerston North.
The kids are both planning already for the dates in May for New Wine mid year events. They want to go to both, Palmy and Wgtn!!!!!
I really enjoyed Cutting Edge this year and I was wondering whether there was any photos of Cutting Edge and the rest of the camp for 08, on the internet or somewhere because I really want to show my friends how fun Cutting Edge and Summer Wine was. It’d be nice to look back throughout the year and remember what we did.
People were very welcoming and helpful.
The atmosphere in the camp was great and as one camping in the Dell - thanks for the prayers for fine weather!
The slick organisation makes everything flow very well. Living on site, sharing each other's ups and downs and relaxing with fellow God Botherers keeps the "momentum" going.
The speakers were outstanding, worship uplifting ,fellowship inviting, seminars informing, ministry times challenging and comforting. A good well balanced no-hype refreshing time for kingdom people pursuing a kingdom lifestyle in relationship with The King Himself.
Have you got a story of your own from New Wine Summer 2008 or some comments or improvements you would like to suggest? We'd love to hear from you. FEEDBACK
